Join Encompass Health Mechanicsburg as a Dietitian, where you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality, integrated care aimed at helping patients recover from life-changing illnesses and injuries. As a Dietitian at our facility, you will assess patients' nutritional needs, develop and implement nutrition programs, and evaluate and report the results. You will work alongside a team dedicated to enhancing patient outcomes through expertly designed nutritional strategies tailored to each individual's recovery journey.
Assess patient health needs and diet restrictions.
Create dietary plans tailored to the individual's condition and preferences.
Consult with physicians and healthcare personnel to determine nutritional needs and diet restrictions of patients.
Monitor and evaluate patient progress and modify dietary plans based on evaluation.
Educate patients and their families on nutritional principles, dietary plans and diet modifications, and food selection and preparation.
Document patient care and maintain accurate records.
Participate in case management, care planning and quality assurance activities.
Strong understanding of nutrition and its impact on physical recovery.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with patients, families, and healthcare team.
Ability to create and analyze clinical nutrition programs.
Proficiency in dietary education tools and techniques.
Strong organizational and documentation skills.
